costume list
Below is the costume list this was very strict to an extent as it helped to show the differences between the villain and the victem so they can tell the difference between the two caracters. However the clothing between Peter and Adam they had more lineancy however had to be simular to notice the comparrison.
Prop list
Below is the prop list, this states what is equipment and items where used throughout the filming of this trailer. Some had potential hazards however we consulted a risk assesment form to provide us with full safety while using some of the props such as the drill.
Production scheduel
Below is our production log. This states where, when and what problems and how we over came them during the shooting time span that we had. We had many problems however have been able to over come them and have stated what we done.
We found when picking our final clips then editing them before the others where shot saved us alot of time and effort so it didnt take aslong as what had been predicted. However this was a massive gamble and could of proved us wrong setting us back time and doubling our work load so we had more time to consider angles and lighting and other effects we can put into the trailer itself.

Harry Potter film trailer, poster and front cover analysis
Now i will be analysing the Harry Potter and the deathly hallows film trailer, magazine front cover and there poster to see the synergy between the 3.
We can see from my final anaysis there isnt as much synergy between this and the poster and film trailer however there are some relations that can be identifyed, firstly we can see that there is the effect of broken glass, this now resembles things being broken and fighting which is clearly viasable from the poster and the film trailer. Harry being the centre of attention shows that he is the main reason for the distruction and the smaller shards of glass containing his two friends and voldermort in there shows that the enemy is close to all three of them in the distruction.
we can i dentify the synergy from the very first stages of the trailer there is a instand point of view shots betwee harry and voldermort, the look of the two caracters shows instantly that they are fearful of each other this is shown in the poster aswell as the magazine. the mise en scene of the trailer again relates well to the poster with the dark backgrounds with the rugged clothing and again shown in the poster and magazine. the jump cuts and medium long shots create the tension and provides a sense of fear and battle to the trailer.
We can see easily again the synergy between the poster and the trailer, the dark background with hogwarts surrouinded in darkness makes it look like there is something up and will create tension as it is not its normally percieved as it is in the poster. the way that only voldermort and harry are on the front cover shows that these two is where the conflict lays, the way that they both create a feeling of fear and nervousness helps us know what to expect in the movie.

Iron man 2- Film trailer, poster and front cover
I will be analysing the front cover, poster and the film trailer to discuss the synergy between the three and see how they are all related and the noticible simularitys between the three.
In this trailer we can easily identify that the background is blue, this relates to the enemy showing is power being electricity this is show via the electic blue colour that is shown throughout the trailer even in the use of the strobe lighting and camera flashing being this electric blue also, it also feels like he is everywhere all the time which will make the impact of we cannot escape him. One thing that i have noticed is that the footage is prodominantly iron man in the suit not the main star Robert Downing jnr, this stood out for me and shown me is the fictional caracter bigger than the blockbusting star playing him? is iron man the better selling point of the film instead of Robert featuring more himself? i believe yes due to the vast ammount of fans that follow iron man and buy all there promotional products so the more iron man being featured and the more action he can be shown in is enough to get the audiance in to see the film.
We can identify the syinergy between this and the film trailer this shows the electic blue background resembling the audiance and the centre of iron man being the electric blue. Also the way that robert Downing jnr hasnt been featured in this again shows that the fiction is bigger than the reality. we can clearly see the enemy behind iron man himself this can be percieved that he is advanced and cant be seen and he can almost sneak up on the main caracter, he is also showing one of his weapons almost hinting at what is main aim and obective is.
this is the final analysis and the most obvious bit of the syinergy between the three is the use of the colour, this shows that it is one of the key eye catching selling points of the film and has been used to provide us with aslight tease on why is this blue here? why has it featured in all three of the items? even in the puffs located on the cover there background in the elecctric blue also key words and other important infomation is highlighted in blue again relating back to iron man even though the wording isnt anything to do with iron man. again the fact the main star isnt shown or even mentioned my question has been answered by locating the syinergy between the three.
History of trailers
Film trailers have improved over the last 40 years they have advanced massivly by the ammount of edits an camera shots and the mise en scene used in each trailer to create tension to the viewer. Below will be three film trailers from different eras, such as 1960s, 1980s and the 1990s and i will analyse each one and then compare how they have changed over the years.
Bronco bullfrog trailer-1960s
This is the eailiest trailer that i will be looking at, thorughout this film there are no stand out edits or camera shots, this is due to the lack of technology avalible to them aswell as funds to produce the film. There are several medium long shots and close ups however they are placed onto a tripod to keep the camera still this is proberly due to the weight of the cameras in this era however they have used the pan shot as this would be easy to do on the tripod. they have used medium long shots to show the ammount of people in the scence also to show what is going on over all in the clip. the clips within the trailer are very prelonged and shows alot of the scene, this can be a negative as it shows alot of one scene revealing alot of infomation. the use of there jump cuts flip over to another longer scence there are only a few scenes that are short and then shortly swap to another. the biggest thing that i can locate is that colour and the background scenery, the black and white real puts a date on the trailer giving us a indication on when this was releaced and the era of the making, the background items and mise en scene show the date also they are very old vehicals aswell as the wooden trains so it gives a date to the film.
Superman 3 trailer- 1983
This trailer is noticably more advanced in all aspects such as viewing qualilty, sounds and effects. this trailer is much long spaning to over 3 minutes long, to show parts of the film they have incoprated jump cuts, fades in and out, zoom out zoom in and time elipsis, the advantage of these being used is that they can create alot of tension and and creates a effective mood throughout the film making the viewer want to look on and see how there childhood hero can help them. the use of sound in the background helps make this a huge succsess as to start and for the majorty of the trailer is the superman theme tune this will encourage the audiance and send shivers down there back knowing that there hero is being invloved in what it in the film. we see the star and his enemys early on in the trailer so that it gets the point across of that there will be some sort of conflict and battle and we will as a audiance want to see who has won this battle. thye use of colour of the enemys and super man himself help us identify who is the main caracters as super man is clearly noticable in the blue and red cape and pants, this has been done by the use of cgi.
Taken film trailer- 2009
We can see early on the use of text in the trailer is to play a huge part, the way that the facts and figures are so high means that we can tell that is will be a big film with a big story line however it shows that it is also realistic to what is actually going on in the world today however the use of jump cuts and fade ins and outs help show us about what the film is about and showsing alot of action scenes to know there is trouble in the story. The use of text helps as it doesnt give much away about the film and there is very little motion picture in this so the producer is highly dependent on the text to get the point across and grab attention of the audiance and hope that it draws in the audiance.
We can see the comparrason between the three trailers and how modern teachnology has evolved and advanced and what the producers and directors have avalible to them to help produce the blockbusting film with the audiance grabbing trailer, we can notice the colour difference immediately between the three going from the starting black and white to the final CGI finish on the taken trailer this clearly will draw in the audiance so that they can experiance the best effects and sound. Also from the first going to the last the use of text has become more prodominant throughout this means that the producer doesnt have to give away to much footage to draw in the audiance they can use text to grab the attention of the audiance this creates a massive impact and it is common in all todays trailers.
